Who Should Attend?
This course is for people who have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, in being able to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) when dealing with an emergency situation which may involve using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

The purpose of the course is to assist delegates to gain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations and safely use an AED.
By the end of the course delegates will:
- Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
- Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
- Know how to safely use an AED
- Be able to safely use an AED
